News at OWW2

A big thank you to Brian Goins, an OWWII owner, who volunteered more than 80 hours of his time to carefully refurbish our entry sign. The sign had badly deteriorated over the last few years and has now been reinstalled near the mailboxes on Tholstrup Road to identify our community. Thank you again to Gail Hubbel, another OWWII owner, who carved the sign for us in 2005.

All five Board positions are up for election this summer, and our election policy and procedures are posted on this website under Governing Documents, Policy 3-a.

Unfortunately, the Upper Deschutes River Coalition was not able to obtain funding to provide debris pick up this spring. Please DO NOT place debris in the ditches of OWWII.

Recently it's come to the Board's attention that the OWW2 Facebook page is not being used as a place for neighbors to connect, share ideas, and talk about things important to them, in a constructive and respectful manor to all fellow participants. The Facebook page will no longer be promoted on the official OWW2 website.  If you have questions about this go to our "Ask the Board" tab and the Board will respond.

Sue Wente, President OWW2
