An update for you on the progress of stopping the closure of 41 post offices in Oregon.

We wanted  let you know of some news. As you know, Congressman Walden has been making many inquires into the USPS issues across central and eastern OR. This week, we’ve spent a significant amount of time working on the Sunriver office specifically.

I can report that I just spoken with Ron Anderson with the USPS regional office and he indicated that the Sunriver Post office officially off the closure list. I’m told that a formal posting of this news will be listed either today or tomorrow at both the Sunriver and Bend Post offices. This is obviously great news.
